Ridiculously delicious Energy orbs

We have finally found a great substitute for your usual sugary treats that not only taste delicious, but come packed with loads of great ingredients so it doubles as a protein and energy fix. We tried these out at our local gym recently and had everyone asking for the recipe, including the kids after their swimming lessons.

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Refrigeration Time: 30 minutes

3/4 cup any nut butter (we like almond or cashew)
1/4 cup tahini (sesame seed paste)
1/2 cup sweetener (dates, or raw honey or agave nectar)
1 cup sunflower seeds,
1/4 cup of cocoa,
 1/2 - 3/4 cup of shredded coconut.

How to make it:

  1. Place all ingredients in food processor and blend until combined but still chunky.
  2. Roll into balls of any size. For some extra excitement we roll them in coconut or cocoa powder.
